Welcome to The Comic Book Assembly!

Welcome to the DeviantArt group gallery of The Comic Book Assembly, Central New York's professional and amateur comic book creator's club. We meet every Monday at 6pm at Play The Game, Read The Story in the Carousel Mall in Syracuse, NY.
Rules for members:
1. Follow DeviantArt's Terms of Service. Familiarize yourself with their Privacy Policy, Copyright Policy, Submission Policy, and Etiquette Policy before you post here!
2. Only share the password to this account with other club members.
3. Please submit only club-related work through this account (it can be artwork or writing).
4. If you would like to showcase your non-club-related work, please do so by either
a. Logging into this account with your members only password and adding your artwork as a Favorite.
b. Sending a Note to ~comicbookassembly with a link to the submission you'd like to appear in Favorites. Notes will be checked weekly, and your submission will be added to the Favorites.

We are a group of professional and amateur artists in the Central New York area, consisting of local designers, illustrators, inkers, colorists, 3D modelers, and writers. We work in a variety of media, encompassing diverse styles inspired by classic American comics, modern graphic novels, and Japanese manga, and in a number of different genres, including fantasy, super-heroes, and sci-fi. We come together to share and create in our common interest: comic books.
We encourage our talented members to participate in monthly themed projects, like our word-themed short comic anthology, and creative parties, like our 24 Hour Comic party. We foster artistic development by having member-lead presentations on a variety of techniques. We meet every Monday at 6:00pm at the comic book and gaming store Play The Game, Read The Story ([link]) in Carousel Mall, Syracuse, NY.
If you're interested in joining our club, please stop by during any of our weekly meetings and give us a try. We're an informal and friendly group who's focus is to foster creative ideas and growth in each other through constructive criticism and group projects.
